Congratulations to Anna (right) who took first place in the Liam Ball triathlon this weekend. Tom was first Tsunami man home in 10th place and is the new guy to chase. Full results are on the Triathlon Ireland website for the curious. Camlough is next weekend and the deadline for Galway triathlon applications is the 7th.
Cycling on Wednesday is cancelled as there's a duathlon on in the park. Training over the coming week is as follows...
Monday: Track Running
7:00pm-8:30pm - Track running in Belfield - all levels welcome.
Tuesday: Open Water Swim
6.30pm-7:30pm - Open water swim in Grand Canal Dock - meet at the Surf Dock. All levels welcome.
Wednesday: duathlon in the park
Club cycling is cancelled due to the duathlon in the park at which we expect a significant Tsunami turnout. The distance is 2 mile run/10 mile bike/2 mile run. Application forms with further details are in the links section.
Thursday: Swim Coaching in Westwood Clontarf with Shane
8.00pm-8.45pm - Intermediate Swim coaching
8.45pm-9.30pm - Beginner Swim coaching
Friday: Advanced Swim Session, Circuits,
6:45am-7:45am - Advanced Swim Session (not coached). Get down early to a quiet pool and get a good workout in before work.
7.00pm-9.00pm - Circuits with John in Santry Stadium. All welcome.
Saturday: Run training
9:45am-12:30pm - Run training in the Phoenix Park (hill and fartlek sessions). Meet at 9:45am in the Island Bridge Car Park for a 10am start. Coach John Davis. All levels welcome. Come in the Island Bridge Gate, go straight ahead at the junction. We meet in the car park on the right hand side.
Sunday: Cycling
9.30am-12.00pm - Advanced Cycling group leaving from the Spar Shop in Stepaside for 2-2:30 hours steady cycle.
