Winter Training Program (Now Updated with Swimming Times)

Dust off your bike, splash out on a new pair of runners and don your thermals...lets get back to business...its the 04/05 Winter Training Plan!

Monday
  • Nothing (Hurray!)

    Tuesday
  • Circuits in Santry (Morton Stadium)
  • 6pm - Coach John Davis
  • Tsunami Contact - Mick Mcgloin
  • All Levels

    Wednesday
  • Cycling Specific Spinnng Session Westwood Leopardstown
  • 8:15 Meeting in Lobby of Westwood
  • Coach - Scott McDonald
  • Tsunami Contact - Anna Frankland
  • All Levels Note: this session begins on the 17th of Nov

    Thursday
  • Nothing (Hurray!)

    Friday
  • Swimming - 3 Lanes in Westwood Clontarf
  • 7am - 8am
  • Beginners with Liuwe, sponsored by Liuwe Personal Training
  • Intermediates with Shane
  • Advanced with Jack (a new addition to the Tsunami coaching team).
  • Starts this Friday - email training@tsunamitri.com to put your name on the swimming list.

  • Running (Slow/Steady) - Phoenix Pk - Car Park Below Magazine Fort

    Sunday
  • Cycling - South Side - Stepaside Spar
  • 9:30 (be there at 9:20am)
  • Coach - Scott McDonald (currently injured, back after christmas)
  • Intermediate to Advanced - Road Bikes Only
  • Bring spare tubes, pump, rain jacket, food, water bottle
  • Duration - 2 to 2.5 hours

  • Southside Beginner Level Cycling - All bikes must be road worthy
  • Meeting as Spar Stepaside at 12:15
  • Duration 1 - 1.5 hour cycle
  • Bring spare tubes, pump, rain jacket, food, water bottle

  • Cycling - North Side - Westwood Clontarf
  • 9:30 (be there at 9:20am)
  • Intermediate to Advanced - Road Bikes Only
  • Bring spare tubes, pump, rain jacket, food, water bottle
  • Duration - 2 to 2.5 hours

  • North Side Beginner Level Cycling - All bikes must be road worthy
  • Meeting as Westwood Clontarf at 12:15
  • Duration 1 - 1.5 hour cycle

    How long is the circuit session in Santry tonight, the Friday one is usually about 2 hours....

    I think its about 90mins Daithi - similar to Friday nights but less intense (so I'm told!)

    Just wondering who was at last weekends cycle from the northside. Thinking of going this week but as big night organised for Saturday odds not looking good.

    I plan to go cycling on the northside this sunday. I'm going to accompany the beginnner group at 12, so if you fancy a lie-in, I can meet you for a spin afterwards.
