Practice swim for Mourne Triathlon.
Exactly two weeks prior to The Kingdom of the Mournes Triathlon, Olympian
Triathlon Club will be holding a practice swim over the lake race course. There
will be safety cover - at least two kayaks and a number of experienced
swimmers in the water appointed to look after beginners and the less
confident. If you can make it - any club, any standard - you will be more
than welcome...
Please note that there will be a huge farm and country show in the park that
day so leave yourself 20-30 mins extra travelling time as traffic could be
problematic.
All swimmers MUST wear a wet suit and a brightly coloured swim cap. It would
be a great help if those less confident could wear a WHITE cap and all
others some other bright colour.
Minimum age: 16 years.
Maximum age: born after 1900
