Check out the following story from Cycling Ireland. The cycle racing season is fast approaching. For those in doubt about their training and racing, or who simply have questions - why don’t you pencil the 14th of January into your diaries for our National Cycling Coaching Forum?
Enjoy a training spin, lunch and then sit back and let your questions be answered. The forum will take place at Kilcullen Community Hall, Kilcullen, Co Kildare...
Sign on will be opened at 9.45am followed by a number of organised training spins (hard shell helmets required) leaving Kilcullen at 10.00am. Showers will be provided and lunch from 1.00pm followed by the following presentations:
- Dope testing, health & supplements by Jack Watson and Dr. Conor McGrane
- Training aided devices by Aidan Hammond
- Alternative road bike training by Martin Eadon British Cyclo Cross Coach
- Training programs, goal setting & tapering by Chris Newton
Sign on will be €10 or £7stg. (which includes lunch).
