The 2007 Dublin City Triathlon will take place this year on the weekend of the 25th/26th of August . For any new members, the DCT is the biggest triathlon held in Ireland. It is organized and run by your club, Piranha. Its profits go directly to the club. Last year it was an undisputed success with the club receiving numerous compliments from those involved. The planning for this year’s event has begun.
We’re asking all Piranha Members put their racing ambitions aside for the event and volunteer to assure the collective success of the race; we can not do this without you!
We are currently recruiting members and family to help with all aspects of the race!
Below is some of the roles we are looking to fill at this time.
We have broken a lot of the work down into separate roles to allow maximum participation but also to cut down on the workload for each person. The list below is not fixed and will change if needed. If you have particular skills which you feel might be useful and are not listed please post also. You don’t need to be an expert either. And new members, it’s a great way to get to know the club and all its members.
Please help your club out. It’s a great event and to say you were involved in the running of it is a bonus. It might even help you CV if you happen to work in any of the particular areas. If you want to support your club please reply via a posting.
