VOLUNTEERS ARE ASKED TO ARRIVE FOR 7.20A.M, AND TO WEAR A CLUB JERSEY IF POSSIBLE.ROLES WILL BE ASSIGNED ON THE MORNING.
ATHLETES ARE ASKED TO ARRIVE AT 7.20A.M.ONCE THE TRAINING SESSION STARTS THERE WILL BE NO CHANGING ROOM FACILITES .ATHLETES WILL CHANGE ONCE INTO CYCLE/RUN GEAR IN TRANSITION AREA.REMEMBER TO BRING AN ENERGY DRINK FOR THE BIKE.
On Saturday 17th of March we're running our first Training Triathlon with the support of Westwood fitness club. The event has been designed to give beginners a chance to experience taking part in a triathlon in a controlled, non-competitive environment, where learning and getting used to transition are the main goals.

There will also be a limited number places for intermediate, advanced members - as we have space in the pool for an hour. Event Outline
Participants will swim 500m (not 750m) in Westwood's 50m pool, transition to the cycle in the car park of the club, cycle 9Km towards Howth before making the turn back towards Westwood (18Km for the cycle in total). Participants will then run out of the Westwood gates towards the city, turning left after Annesley bridge, around Fairview park, back to the gate of Westwood and then completing one more lap of the same run course (staying on the path at all times) for a total run of 5.5Km.
