Static Ironman 2007
Update - This event is on tommorrow Friday 26th Oct.
If you work in town or have a some spare time make sure you call round and have a look and show some support. It will be on top of grafton st on king street.
The swim start will be at approx 8:45am, anticipated finish sometime around 8:30pm. Read on for how you can help.....

He really needs collectors on the day. If you can come along for any portion of the day, Bucket Collection volunteers can call into the People In Need Office on Clarendon St anytime to pick up a collection bucket, high visibility vest and a copy of the Garda permit. If you're any questions just ask at the office.

Some of you will know Eoin Ryan from 3d who was in Italy this year with the club. The IM gang will know him too from some of the training we did leading up to IM Austria 2007 this year.
He is lined up to do a Static Ironman on Grafton St on Friday 26th October, Telethon day, for People in Need.
Swim in an endless pool, cycle on a turbo trainer and run on a treadmill!
It sounds like a fantatic event and will no doubt give some spotlight to Triathlon and the Ironman distance in general.
