Art Mac Manusa Swims for charity

Art Mac Manusa is taking part in a the Frances Memorial Galway Bay Swim 2008 in aid of a very good cause. Read on for more details.
I'll be swimming across Galway Bay on the 9th of August as part of the Frances Thornton Memorial Galway Bay Swim 2008 in aid of Cancer Care West. I've been given permission to take part in the swim while raising money for a separate charity: Link Community Development as well as Cancer Care West.

The swim is 11km, but apparently with shifting currents and being unable to swim in a straight line, it works out as 13km.
