Swim Coaches:

Kris Szczuroski

Ewa Warzycha Cienkusz – “Swimming is my passion and swam competitively for 7 years in Poland. In 2007 I graduated in Physical Education, swim and skiing coaching.  I’ve been in the industry for 7 years teaching and coaching children, masters and triathletes. Since 2010 I’ve been working with local swim club and 2012 with Dublin Swimming Club. I’ve joined Piranha Triathlon Club in January 2017 and I really enjoy it!!!”

Paul Donovan – “My professional background is in performance swimming, having worked as the Head Coach at the National Aquatic Centre Performance Centre for Swim Ireland for seven and a half years. During that time athletes I coached represented Ireland at every level of the sport, including Shane Ryan (Rio Olympic semi finalist), Barry Murphy (London Olympian, European Bronze medallist 2013) & countless others who broke more than 50 Irish Records during that time and won more than 100 National titles. I myself have been privileged to lead Irish teams to many international meets during this time and travelled to competitions across the world with athletes from the NAC on the Junior, European and World stage. In addition to this I have also worked with Triathlon Ireland during this time to support several of their elite athletes with swimming coaching and support. Both Gavin Noble (London Olympian) and Bryan Keane (Rio Olympian) have been part of the NAC Performance Centre during my time there. My background is in club swimming having been the Head Coach in Trojan SC and having competed at a national level swimmer for them. Having completed my time with Swim Ireland in December I am currently taking some time away from full time coaching and enjoying sharing my experiences with the Piranha team greatly.”
