    Hello All,

    NO CYCLE EASTER SUNDAY.

    Group 1 – meeting at Westwood at 8.20am for a 8.30am departure.
Groups 2, 3 and 4: meeting at Yellow House at 8.50 for a 9.00am departure. Click HERE (Morilles Restaurant) for a Google Map view of the Yellow House. If cycling from Northside to Yellow House I suggest taking the cycle path along the path from Grand Canal Street to Harolds Cross. Alternative is to drive to Rathfarnham and leave car in the village.

Group 1 – Dublin Hills – John Lyons with Ken Hughes in support
Group 2 – SallyGap and Roundwood– Bike Lead Bernard Hanratty. Route HERE 60k round trip from Yellow House. 1,100M climb
Group 3 – Ballinascorney, Sally Gap, Roundwood – Bike Lead Rob Keenan. Route HERE 80k round trip from Yellow House. 1,500M Climb
Group 4 – Wicklow Gap – Bike Lead Michael Barry. Route HERE 100k 1,550M Climb

Please be mindful of cycling discipline. It is important to re-group regularly given the climbs.
** There is one cycle lead – and that person is responsible for the route.
** Tight two by two groups, with regular up-and-overs and with a single-file transition are the hallmarks of a disciplined cycle group. No “half wheeling”!
** Each group has a target average speed – this should be maintained. Surges in speed (lead from the front) leads to a dragging-out of the group and members get left behind.
** Traffic lights must be obeyed – pedestrian and traffic!

    Note:
Sunday, 23rd – All Groups will leave from Westwood at 8.30am for Northside Spins

Have a great cycle on Sunday.

    Bernard
