To cater for those with tired heads from the Piranha Awards night tonight, start time being pushed out to 9.30am!

Sunday, 26th November, we will be meeting at Westwood in Clontarf at 9.20am for a 9.30am departure.

Group 1 will be doing a route (approximately 50/60km) with Bike Lead John Lyons – route is Howth Hill and will include some breaking techniques.
Group 2/3 will be doing a route (approximately 50/60km) with Bike Lead Trish Eadie – route weather dependent.

As always, please remember good bike discipline while out on a club spin:

** There is one cycle lead – and that person is responsible for the route.
** Tight two by two groups, with regular up-and-overs and with a single-file transition are the hallmarks of a disciplined cycle group. No “half wheeling”!
** Each group has a target average speed – this should be maintained. Surges in speed (lead from the front) leads to a dragging-out of the group and members get left behind.
** Traffic lights must be obeyed – pedestrian and traffic!
** Groups should not break-up on the flat. If they do, then they should re-group as soon as reasonably practicable.
