Dear Piranhas!
With the 2017 season just around the corner and lots of new faces at training we would like to acknowledge someone who truly represents the ethos that the club should aspire to. For this reason the Volunteer of the Month Award for March 2017 goes to… John Lyons!
John is usually the first person to put his hand up when we ask for volunteers to assist with training. He has been tirelessly leading the Group 1 cycles up Howth hill every Sunday and has even been known to take the group for a coffee break (recognising the importance of nutrition!) He also volunteers his time as assistant swim coach several days a week and is prominent in welcoming new members to the club and introducing newbies to triathlon. He is a major asset to Piranha. As a small token of our appreciation the club committee are pleased to award him a 25euro voucher for Cyclesuperstore as well as a coveted Piranha coach T shirt.
