Now that the season is in full swing you will find that June has a couple of National Series races but its not packed either.

June kicks off with the annual TRIATHY which is great for beginners and experienced athletes alike but as its not NS there are not too many Piranha’s racing.

Next up is Fastnet Sprint in Cork on 9th National Series and then Hook or by Crook on Saturday 16th. Hook is one of the 6 targeted races and its our first overnight stay event and one not to be missed. Big numbers are travelling the short trip to Dunmore East. On the same day you can do Westport Sprint which is also NS but you will miss all the craic in Dunmore if you do.

Triathlon wise the month finishes off with Hell of the west in Kilkee (not a NS race) not many travelling this year. We have other local events to consider which are listed below and are good as training days and race sharpeners

Saturday 2nd TriAthy multi distance triathlons
Saturday 9th Fastnet Sprint Cork NATIONAL SERIES
Sunday 10th Skerries Sprint (Local area and decent race)
Monday 11th HOWTH AQUA round 2 of the Aquathon lets hope the tide is in this time!
Saturday 16th Hook or by Crook Sprint NATIONAL SERIES BIG DAY OUT!!
Saturday 16th Westport Sprint NATIONAL SERIES , not so many attending as will be at Hook
Sunday 24th HOWTH Irelands Eye swim
Saturday 30th Hell of the West Olympic

    JW &
    National Series Coordinators
