A lottery will be held for 5 places at DCT for eligible Piranha members. Eligibility is based on a history of volunteering for at least 3 of the previous 4 DTC races. Successful members can chose to compete in the Olympic or Super Sprint races. Race fees will apply.
Closing date for applications to race is Friday, June 5th. The successful applicants will be announced on Monday, June 8th. The committee will validate the eligibility of all applicants. Applicants should list their name and the years they volunteered for DCT in the following google sheet

Category 1 and AG National Championships
As DCT is hosting one of only 6 Cat 1 races, Piranha Cat 1 athletes are permitted to race in the DCT Super Series race.
Furthermore, as DCT is the Standard Distance National Championships, any Piranha member who is ranking 1-5 in their age group in the 2015 national series, or who ranked 1-5 in their age group in the 2014 national series is permitted to race the DCT Standard Distance.
Members wishing to race under this ruling should contact the race director, Gavin Duffy. Again, race fees will apply and racing Piranha members are expected to volunteer on Saturday, 22nd August.
Special Award – John Wallnutt
John Wallnutt is being recognised for his achievement as DCT Race Director in winning “TI Race of the Year” for each of the last three years. The Club is delighted to honour him with a complimentary entry to DCT for 2015.
