Gym membership



Westwood gyms (Clontarf, Sandymount and Leopardstown) offer a reduced joining fee rate to full Piranha members of €150 (or possibly more if a group of 5 or more join at a time). Usually the joining fee is €350 upwards

As part of WW's mad Friday campaign - the sign on to join the gym is reduced to €80 on the last Friday of the month - this is even better than the rate of €150 arranged for Piranha members

Cycle accessories



Wheelworx currently offer a 10% discount off accessories, wetsuits, clothing, energy food and more to Piranha members. They also offer smaller discounts off bikes 7.5% for your members.

Sports massage



Karen Doyle - Booterstown

Physical therapy: assessment, treatment & rehabilitation of injuries (sporting, occupational, postural etc). Recognised by Vhi, Vivas & Hibernian Health.

Sports Massage: deep tissue massage to keep injuries at bay and maintain condition of the muscles

Karen has worked with athletes such as hill runners, iron men, runners, rock climbers and cyclists for over two years and this year worked as Physical Therapist with the Dundrum cycle team on the 2008 FBD Ras.

Karen is based southside in Booterstown, close to UCD. Piranha members are entitled to a club discount of €5 off treatments. A treatment is normally €45 but shall only cost €40 at the Piranha club rate.

Derry Temple - WW Clontarf

Derry Temple, a sports and massage therapist, will be offering reduced rates for piranha members for his services. His usual price is 65 euro an hour, Piranha members are entitled to a €5 discount on this rate

For anybody who is interested in block booking sessions he will do reduced rate of three sessions for 160 euro which is a 35 euro saving. The three sessions will have to be paid for up front. N.B. This offer is only available from April to May

Elaine specialises in Asian Deep tissue techniques and sports bodywork therapy for sports enhancement and minimizing injuries pre and post events.

PiranhaTri members can avail of discounted therapy sessions on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings between 7-10pm Special Piranha price of 50 Euro per session.
