Motion #1 – Membership Structure and Fee
Proposal that the Club adopts a revised membership structure whereby the membership fee will provide access to all cycling and running sessions and the swimming sessions held in the 25-metre pool (Sean McDermott Street).
Access to swimming sessions held in 50-metre pools (Westwood and UCD) will be subject to an additional fee, payable separate from the standard membership fee.
| Full | Student | Half-year | |
| Standard Membership* | €295 | €150 | €150 |
| 50-metre pool add-on | €175 | €175 | €88 |
*All swim training in 25-metre pool, all cycling and running training.
This proposal aims to maintain the current membership fee while balancing the allocation of the higher costs of 50-metre pools fairly while still providing access to those who wish to use these facilities. This price increase for the 50-metre pools is essential to keep the Club’s finances sustainable. Full details will be provided at the AGM.
Motion #2 – Change to Piranha Triathlon Club Kit Design
Proposal that Piranha Triathlon Club update its current kit design to reflect the feedback received from the club kit survey, while retaining the club’s established navy and red colours and recognisable identity.
The survey feedback highlighted a preference for maintaining the club’s traditional colours, a clean and minimal design, dark/black bib shorts, and kit that is non-transparent. The proposed redesign aims to reflect these priorities while modernising the club’s appearance and maintaining a consistent identity across club members.
It is proposed that the club review and vote on the shortlisted kit designs, with the preferred design selected through a club vote.
