To become a member of Piranha Triathlon club you need to be a registered member of Triathlon Ireland, the National Governing Body for triathlon, duathlon, aquathlon, and aquabike on the island of Ireland. This provides all members with essential insurance for training and racing, eligibility for National Series, discounts and the chance to represent Ireland at international events.
This can only be done through the Triathlon Ireland Website.
Our membership year runs from 1 February to 31 January and 1 July to 31 January for a half year membership. Renewal for the following year needs to be submitted and paid for by 31 January of the renewing year.
Joining is simple, just follow these steps:
- Go to the Triathlon Ireland membership page here and either renew or become a member (if you’re new). Full membership is €99.50 per year.
- Select Piranha as your club – if you don’t do this, we won’t have a record of you and you won’t be able to make payment.
- Make payment through the Triathlon Ireland website for the club annual fee. You’ll be able to choose full (€295), student (€150) or associate (€30) club membership.
- Email confirmation of your Triathlon Ireland licence and membership (student identity if you are a student member) to Marlon via memberships@piranhatri.com
