Swim Training

Members can access Piranha swim sessions three times per week. Sessions are split by ability - please attend the lane that matches your level so we can keep groups manageable.

Punctuality matters. Be on deck five minutes before the start of the session.

Improvers

Swimmers able to swim 50m front crawl in 75 seconds and 300m front crawl in 9 minutes.

Points to note

  • Please use the lockers provided.
  • Saturday morning is a brick session – swim at WestWood Clontarf 08:15 – 09:45 followed by a run on Clontarf strand.
  • Some sessions use fins and a pull buoy. Improvers in particular should have both in their swim bag. Equipment is available from swimkit.ie. If you’re unsure what to buy, chat with the swim coaches first.
