Planning has begun for RDJ Dublin City Triathlon 2026, which the club will host in August next year. DCT is one of Ireland’s largest triathlon events, and a valuable asset for the club. The Committee is seeking applications for the position of Race Director.
The DCT Race Director is a paid position that involves working with all relevant stakeholders to ensure the race day is a success for all athletes and volunteers.
Anyone interested in the position should send an email application to clubsecretary@piranhatri.com and chair@piranhatri.com, outlining the role they have played in assisting with the organisation of DCT in the past, or any other relevant experience they have in organising similar large events. Do indicate any areas of speciality you might possess relevant to the role.
Please also note that applicants must be fully paid up members of both Piranha Triathlon Club and Triathlon Ireland in order to be considered for this appointment.
Deadline for application is 5pm on Friday, 21 November 2025.
Applications for Assistant Race Director roles will be posted in December, following the appointment of Race Director.
