2x Saturday Sea Swim Sessions

Hi Gang,

We’re splitting the session this Saturday (9th August) according to abilities.

10am to 11am beginner and intermediate 1 (i.e. circa 2-2.30 per 100m)

11.15am to 12.15 pm. – intermediate 2 and advanced (i.e. circa 1.30-2.00 per 100m)

Minimum swim proficiency for each session is 200m open water non stop. Triathlon Ireland and Piranha membership required.

Meet at the grey concrete steps at the far end of the bull wall…..post up if attending.

Leave valuables at home 😉

Assuming there are no water quality issues ( see other thread re tonight’s Seapoint Session), I’ll be there.

At 2min/100m, I think I’m somewhere between the two, so I’ll push myself and go for the 2nd session…!!!

Hi Gang,

No water quality issues at the Bull Wall (or seapoint) reported so we’ll go ahead on Saturday.

If anyone is interested official reports and warnings re water quality are available here

First session at 11.15 for me- I might not be going very far 🙁

Ok.

Seems there are no takers for the 10 o clock sessions and everyone has said they’ll be there’s at 11.15 so we’ll just go ahead with the 11.15 session
