Belpark v Piranha TT Results Round 2 – N11

Well done to all who took part in round 2 of the Belpark v Piranha TT today, the views of a full rainbow took everyone’s mind off the damp and slightly breezy conditions.
We have some very impressive results along with at least one internal GPS failure!!!
It was great to see a few new faces and club mates who took part in there very 1st Time Trial.

Massive thank you to all marshals who turned up today the TT cannot happen without you.
Thanks to all who also stopped to help Arron great show of interclub spirit.

All,

Just a quick follow up to Sunday’s TT – I touched base with a friend of mine from Belpark (who was racing on Sunday) to enquire about Arron (the girl racing with Belpark who came off her bike). I mentioned that a few people from Piranha were concerned and asking about her, and asked him to be sure to pass on our best wishes.

Arron dropped me an email earlier today on foot of that, as follows:

“John,

Thanks for your best wishes. 

I’m doing fine. My helmet saved me, I managed to crack it and walk away with just some bruising and cuts. 

Great sportsmanship was shown on Sunday. Thanks again for everyone in Piranha who helped me.

I hope to be back on the bike soon.
