Caroline Kearney Tri – Registration Opening

Entry for the 2015 Caroline Kearney Olympic Distance Triathlon will open on Friday 27th February at 8pm.

This race has been chosen as one of the races in Piranha’s National Series Strategy.

Some points to note on that race

– The race takes place on Saturday 8th August – one day before Ironman Dublin 70.3
– It is an Olympic distance race with a 1500m lake swim in Lough Ennell, one 40km flat cycle loop and 10km flat run on closed country roads
– It’s about 100km / 1hr 15 mins from Dublin so competitors can travel up and down on the day
– Last year 350 people took part in the race. I am expecting that the race this year will sell out pretty quick
– Having done this race in the past, I would highly recommend it. It represents a good opportunity for those thinking of doing their first Olympic Distance Tri this summer
– Registration (I think) will be available at the following link on the date https://sites.google.com/site/carolinekearneytri/CK-Tri-2014-registration
