Best of luck to Will “Beetroot” Owens and Niall “Cheesegrater” McDonald who will be racing Ironman this Sunday 28th June.

Both have put in a savage amount of training and hopefully will do stellar times.

McD is really showing his mettle by taking on one of the one of the toughest course on the Ironman circuit in Nice, whereas Will is racing Austria.

You can track their times by logging onto http://www.ironman.com on the day for the weird sport of online Ironman monitoring – where you log on when you wake up and discover they have done the swim …. then you pop back into periodically on the day to see if they have finished the bike and then from around 7 onwards you keep hitting F5 to refresh to see when they finish the run…..

Go get ’em lads … oh and a special shout out to Will who will be vying to become only the third ever Piranha to break the coveted Ironman 10 hour milestone.

Best of Luck lads, I am sure you will both do yourselves proud. No disrespect to 10hrs and excuse my french but….BOLLOX TO THAT.

Getting to any IM start line is massive and finishing in anytime is an even bigger achievement.
