ParticipantHi,
Was going to sell this at the start of last season, but injuries have finally won out:
For sale, large frame Specialized Shiv (2013 model), SRAM Rival components, Deep section carbon tubulars front & back (unbranded planet X), Fast Forward rear tubular Disc. Giro Aero helment (medium) included.
Very low mileage (still on original tires), about 6 sprints total and a few training rides. Disc used even less.
Haven’t trained with the club in over a year but I thought I’d put it up here first.
€2,000 ONOReally fast bike in great nick,
Maurice

Paul MooneyParticipantIs it size 54.by any chance?

ParticipantHey Paul, it’s 56, but I’m not sure how the sizing works with TT frame.
The frame should suit 5’9-6’0, but i’m 6’1″ and the post/bars are only about half extended.
I’ve all the original/extra spacers though and the bars haven’t been trimmed so there should be a bit of play.Maurice

Paul MooneyParticipantI’m only hobbit sizw 5’6 haha so too big for me.

ParticipantHaha, no worries.
I’ll try and sell the lot together, but if i get any interest in the frame on it’s own you’ve first dibs on the wheels!Maurice

ParticipantHi Maurice,
I’m 6’2 (and a bit!) – do you think this bike would fit me?
And what would be the cost of this setup from new do you think?
Thanks
Simon15th January 2015 at 5:22 pm #5469Maurice
ParticipantI sent on the details on there Simon.
The frame was 3.5k new in Base to Race, but soon after I bought it the new model was released and mine was reduced to 2.5k.
The original wheels were replaced with carbon tubulars for about 700, and the Disc wheel cost another 1k.
The look on my face when I was told to not run/ do tri’s again… priceless :/Cheers,
