Volunteers in the Spotlight!
The club committee aims to regularly highlight some of the amazing volunteering our club members have been doing on behalf of the club.
We are (belatedly) celebrating and commending John Clarke and Tony O’Grady for their outstanding work organising the club training weekend over the Easter Weekend. That weekend saw over 50 club members go to Dungarvan for what was an incredibly well organised weekend of training and socialising. All members who attended report of a wonderful weekend of triathlon training, yoga, trail running, talks, and of course socialising and getting to know fellow members! John and Tony start the organisation for this weekend over six months in advance and ensure that all logistics are smooth and that the club gets great value for money. These weekends simply could not happen without members like John and Tony in the club so big bravo and thanks to them both!! They will receive a voucher as a token of the club’s appreciation.
Today we also give a big thanks to Ignacio Bustos who recently co-ordinated a large club gear order to get all our members decked out in the new Piranha gear for race season – it was brilliant to see so many new members in their new tri-suits at Clonmel Triathlon and TriAthy in the past few weeks. Ignacio did a wonderful job co-ordinating this and we are very grateful to him for volunteering to do this. Bravo to you Ignacio!! Ignacio will receive a voucher as a token of the club’s appreciation.

Our club is entirely volunteer dependent and could not continue without members helping with the day to day activities. Thank you again to all our club members who help out!
