6k Petrified Forest Swim on Sat 4th Oct

Hi,

I’ve entered this end of season open water swim – its the “Petrified Forest 6k Swim” from Killiney to Bray. Swim gets its name as you will swim over a submerged pine forest on Bray’s North Beach that is over 6,000 years old and can only be seen at very low tides.

Sat 4th October @ 10am from Killiney Beach. Wetsuit or skins both fine – and it’s TIDE ASSISTED.

Swim being organised by Ger Kennedy from Irish Long Distance Swimming Association – he provided the boat for DCT (at very short notice) – so would nice for Piranha to support his event too.
