For anyone looking for an Autumn cycle training camp, I can recommend the Hotel Dory in Riccione near Rimini in Italy.

More of a “cycling holiday” than a “cycle training camp” there were 4 led cycle groups daily of different abilities and you can hire bikes there. I rode a Scott CR1. I paid just over €90 a night to stay in the adjacent apartments and the price included breakfast, lunch and dinner in the hotel. Bike hire is extra.

Ryanair fly to Bologna from where they will collect at a price or hire a car.The owner, a keen cyclist himself, is very welcoming.

They also do a package including transport to the event for anyone doing the Nove Coli next year, the weekend after Barcelona 70.3

Sounds good.

I was in Club La Santa in Lanzarote in Feb, and I think Triathlon Ireland organise an event that also go to Lanzarote in March/April, not quite sure if it’s Club La Santa they go to.
