    Having recently upgraded the car ( 😛 ), I’m now in need of a new bike carrier.

    Can anyone recommend one that would be suitable for a saloon (but with no towbar) and that does not scratch? Does such a thing exist!?

    You could try a Hollywood bike carrier. Got mine at UCD bike shop. Think it was €70?

    I have used Saris Bones RS Bike Boot Rack on my last car a salon and i was very happy with it.
    I put inner tube over the under-boot clips and have seen no obvious scratches.

    Sweet Jesus, 250 quid for a bike carrier! 😯 I got mine for 40 in Lidl and it’s done me for 6 years, often carrying 2 bikes.

    I really feel broke when I hear triathletes talking about gear…
