Due to a number of people pulling out over the last 24 hours we’ve moved from being adequately covered to being stretched across both the Swim and Bike teams. Any more dropouts and we’ll be struggling.

If you haven’t been in touch with us about volunteering this weekend and have Sunday free drop me a mail at dara.lawlor@gmail.com

    Thanks,

    Dara

Really disappointed to see this…………..We have 250 members and this is part of your membership agreement.

If we are short members to help steward DCT the committee will have to look at those who made no effort to contact Dara and offer to help. We have a number of people who are unavailable on the day or are away on holidays and most have helped on different projects before the race. If we cannot get 100 members from 250 to make themselves available for 6 to 8 hours on one day in the year it will be VERY DISAPPOINTING

C’mon folks. DCT is hugely important to the club. It contributes greatly to the training, discounts on gear etc. And speaking personally I’m damm proud about being a Piranha and welcome the opportunity to support the club and make DCT a mighty fine race. C’mon folks, it’s one weekend to volunteer, all to receive a year of coaching, training, support & advice.
