Well done to Phil Sykes who quietly competed in his age group last weekend in Geneva. Proudly flying the flag for club and country in the European sprint championships

    WELL DONE YOUNG MAN !

How’d it go Phil? Is there a race report coming?

Thanks. With a torn calf muscle two weeks before race day, it was touch and go as to whether I’d be able to race. Thankfully, I made it round and finished but not in a fast time. The whole weekend was an amazing experience – will do a race report. The final French athlete to go in the Sprint relay took gold by not putting his running shoes on and stole enough time out of T2 to win. The finish chute went ballistic as he crossed the line barefoot pursued by the Swiss and the Brits.

    Back from holiers next week.

    Cheers,

    Phil
