National Champions, Podiums Galore & someone heading to the 50th State in Y16

It was all about National Championships at Pulse Beach Tri in Clogherhead on Saturday.

With half the Club racing our Piranha’s that podiumed were:
Conall Murphy Champion (30-34)
John Wallnutt Champion (50-55)
Michael McGloin 2nd (40-44) & 5th overall
Rachel Hayes 2nd (25-29) & 3rd overall
Jacqui Dunphy 3rd (35-39)

Meanwhile in the south John Martin was the sole Piranha at the Moby Dick Sprint in Youghal, Co. Cork, finishing in 01:25:59 including a 500m swim over-shoot 🙂

So for all but a few of us that is the Season over, good luck to the Barca Ironman racers next Sunday & those still training for the Dublin marathon…

Fantastic day on Saturday in Port Beach. Well done all Piranha’s who raced – it was a great Club day out. Well done to the podium guys and gals.

With these results and Sean’s performance in Chattanooga, there’s absolutely no pressure for those in Barca!
