Hi all –
Following on from previous posts on the matter, the committee has approved a decision to appoint Niall McDonnell as our new Saturday Swim coach. Niall will take over from Paul Donovan from Sat 1 September onwards.
Niall has Level 1 Teaching and Coaching certification with Swim Ireland and Level 2 Coaching certificate coupled with over 10 years of competing and coaching in triathlon with Piranha.
Niall has coached many swim sessions in the past on an ad hoc basis and the committee are excited for him to put a development plan in place and for him to bring his energy and enthusiasm on deck every Saturday morning.
