The committee is happy to announce that on Saturday 30th March we have organised a member talk with two exciting guests. Bryan McCrystal and Dr. Sharon Madigan will be in attendance to host an interactive discussion on all things triathlon and nutrition. Bryan is one of Irelands most successful triathletes and holds the Irish Ironman distance record, Sharon is a registered dietitian that works in sport and can give an insight into a professional, scientific approach to diet. This should be a hugely beneficial talk from two very knowledgeable contributors in their respective fields, which should help get the 2019 season off to a great start. Bryan has asked for us to send in questions in advance so the session can be as informative as possible. In order to facilitate this please submit your questions to [email protected].
Sharon is the Sport Institute of Irelands nutritionist and we have the good fortune to welcome her back again after she spoke to us along with Derval O’Rourke last year. More details in the bios below.
The talk will take place in Westwood Clontarf on Saturday 30th March, after swim training.
