    Hi all –

The committee is pleased to announce that we have been successful in our application for resilience funding from Sport Ireland, via Triathlon Ireland. The resilience funding was put in place to ensure sports clubs can continue to deliver sporting opportunities at a local level. More information on the funding is available here – https://www.sportireland.ie/news/sport-ireland-welcomes-new-covid-19-investment-scheme

The club has been awarded €33,880 under this scheme which goes a long way to covering the decrease in our 2021 income (e.g. from DCT not going ahead last year) along with the increase in costs of running the club under COVID (Glofox app to track & trace, lower capacity in swim lanes, etc).

This is great news for our club and allows us to continue to plan on delivering the best value for our members.

A massive hit tip to Susan Wylie, our club treasurer who crunched all the numbers and put together the application for this funding.

    See you out there training,
    Killian
