I’m going to try to get along to this for the practice.

John Wolf – > I’ll be bringing – runners, bike shoes, helmet, elastics. Anthony / Steven, are we planning practicing getting out of a wetsuit?

Great to see so many interested in this. Here is some more info for Saturday:

John Walnutt will be leading the session on the day. John is a very experienced triathlete and leaves nothing to chance when it comes to transitions. He often has some of the fastest transitions of the entire field at various races.

We will start the session bang on 13:00 at the Garda Boat Club so please be there at least 15 min early to register and get your gear set up.

    What to bring

    Bike (in working order)
Trisuit or appropriate cycling attire + helmet and sunglasses
Any running gear you plan on wearing in your race
    Water

    Running shoes
Cycling shoes (if you have them)

    Race belt
    Elastic bands
    Vaseline/Body glide
    Talcum powder
A hand towel or small bath towel

We won’t be doing anything with wetsuits on Saturday as we won’t be swimming in them and there’s a big risk of tearing them when they’re dry. We will do a seminar on “All things wetsuit” at our first open water session in May.

Looking forward to seeing you all.

    Happy training,
    Anthony

Be sure to post up if you plan on coming to this. Will be a great opportunity to learn some valuable skills for the season to come.
