UPDATE John Davis 5km & Ivan’s BBQ

UPDATE……. John Davis 5km run followed by Ivan’s now annual BBQ on Saturday, 19th May  

The John Davis 5km Run is shaping up to be a fantastic day. We have over 250 entries already in and over 80 PIRANHA’s entered. So it will be the biggest Piranha field in a race ever. Gav Duffy, the wizard of excel will be putting together 3 person teams as we did last year so if you have not entered and would like to be included please enter before the 12th May. After that date you will not be included. We are waiting on confirmation for the Fingal Coco as well as Malahide school to have showers available after the race. this will be confirmed in the coming week. We would love to see 100+ piranha’s enter the race so if you have not already and intend taking part please enter ASAP

The club will be putting up a  Trophy for first Piranha home  ( male & Female) We will be getting this engraved with the previous winners as well. There will also be a Prize for the first team as well as some spot prizes 

The Timetable for the day is shaping up as follows

Registration  10.30am I would ask some piranha’s who are running to come early, sign on and then help with registration 

Race Start  11.30 am 

Race Finish    12.30pm   ( last runner) 

Prize giving and clean up 12.45pm 

BBQ Ivan’s house  starts 2pm 

BBQ Ivans house Ends 5pm 

GIBNEYS pub Malahide  to watch the Rugby Heinken cup final Leinster v  Ulster, followed by Champions League Soccer final 

Tamango’s 1am 

Swim off Portmarnock beach 3am
