New Membership System

December 1, 2011 Leave your thoughts Posted under

To all existing and new members,

The committee have put in place a new membership system to help keep our membership up to date and insured to train.

On or before the 1st January 2012 everyone will need to renew your membership which you will be able to do online by going to the TRIATHLON IRELAND website. You will need to first renew your TI membership and you will then be given the option to join Piranha Triathlon club. You will be able to pay your Annual full / student or Associate membership. There will also be an option to pay monthly but not on line, the membership secretary will contact you if you take this option.

To encourage as many as possible we have reduced the annual membership to €200 if you pay on line or €20 per month ( € 240pa) if it is set up by standing order. The Student membership is €110 and Associate membership is € 30.

Membership will run from 1st Jan to 31st December and will need to be renewed each year with your TI membership this is to ensure that you are insured to train and race. If paying by standing order this will automatically continue.

If by the 31st of January you have not renewed your membership you will be deemed to be no longer a member and with not be allowed to train with us.

If a new member joins mid-year they will be asked to pay for the balance of the year up front, ie if they join in June they will have to pay for the balance of 6 months ( €120) and so on.

The membership secretary will be holding a registration week in January to help with this process and also arrange any new standing orders. If you have an existing standing order you will still need to go on line to TI website and tick the SO box option so we can check your payments and also register your TI number to confirm you are insured to train.
