Survey Results

Thank you to everyone who took the time to fill out the survey last year. We had a total of 67 people fill it out which provided the committee with feedback on what you wanted for the year ahead. 

Below is a summary of the results. 

Q 1, 2, 3 & 4 were general questions, no committee actions were deemed necessary from them. 

Q1 When did you join piranha.

Q2 Where is it most convenient for you to train? Northside or Southside?
64% said Northside, 34% southside, 3% train either side.

Q3 Why did you join Piranha?

Q4 What do you like about Piranha?

Q5 If a training weekend was organised for early 2012 would you attend?
50 people said either yes or probably. Rostrevor weekend organised for mid feb. 15 Piranhas attended.

Q6 If the club organised a week of Warm Weather Training, would you attend?
31 people said yes & depending on the cost. WWT proposed for mid April. Plans are currently in progress.

Q7 Do you intend to race abroad in 2012. If so, what race are you planning to do?
30 piranhas heading abroad this year to train. Bike boxes bought and are available through Steven Moody. More details on this along with the google calendar will be posted on the website shortly.

Q8 In the next 12 months, how much (€) do you think you’ll spend on Run/Bike/Swim.
This gave us invaluable info to use when approaching possible sponsors. For eg cycle superstore. n/a

Q9 How many hours do you have/would you like to train per week? Addition of sat am brick session and Sunday led cycle.

Q10 What would you like to see more of – training or social?

There were a number of queries and suggestions, thank you all for your ideas. As a summary the action items that came from these are:

• Southside UCD Swim currently being investigated. More on this soon.
• New to tri programme was kicked off again at the end of Jan
• New website has been developed and deployed. DCT website currently being developed. 
• Money in the kitty has been invested in the club – towards club gear and WWT among other things.
• Sunday cycles – are heading south side and meeting at dundrum to collect spinners from this side of the city.
• And a number of other actions that are currently in progress.
