Hi all,
I’d like to thank Mark McInerney and Alan Magee for all the great work they have done in assisting the swim sessions on a Thursday & Saturday respectively. Both men have made their swim days really enjoyable and popular for everyone with average attendances of 40-50 people testament to that. Unfortunately both lads have other commitments for the foreseeable future so will be stepping aside shortly.
To fill that gap and continue to provide an excellent swim experience for members I’m requesting that some members volunteer for;
– Swim Assistant on Thursdays 7.00 – 8.00.am, to start on 12th May
– Swim Assistant on Satursdays 8.15am – 9.45am
The assistant coach would be responsible for implementing the set designed by the head coach at each session. Minimal technical experience necessary, the main function is to keep the lane moving. Consider dropping one of the current assistant coaches a text to find out more and get their take on it as I know they all find it a very rewarding experience.
If you can’t commit to every week it would be great to get 2-3 people to share it between them.
