    Dear Piranhas,

    I’m writing to you today to say thank you for your unfailing support over the past month following my accident. The gifts were really lovely, thank you! I really didn’t expect such amazing generosity.

    But what has really made this last month bearable has been the phone calls, the text messages and the visits. I don’t think a day has gone by without someone being in touch in some way or another. It has made a difference that I cannot even begin to describe.

    You really are an amazing group of people; an inspiration and I can’t wait to be back training again soon.
